Email Archive Migration

TransVault

Over the last year a number of organizations told us they are quite dissatisfied with their current archiving solution…but they feel trapped because of the immense cost and time required to migrate to a new archiving system. We also encounter situations such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures that necessitate the extraction and migration of archived data.

For example, a group of Canadian law firms expressed concern with the impact Autonomy’s purchase of ZANTAZ/EAS is having on both ongoing customer support and the future development of the product.

Fortunately for them (and everyone else in a similar position), we recently uncovered a solution which will allow you to migrate from one archiving system to another with very little effort: TransVault.

TransVault is the only packaged software application that enables companies to migrate archived data from one system to another—for example when a company has outgrown a system; has a system that was never properly implemented; has multiple archiving systems as the result of mergers; or wishes to retire the hardware that houses their archives.

Basically, it extracts all the email from your current archiving platform so you can migrate it to a new email archiving system—quickly, painlessly, and cost-effectively. KVS/Veritas/Symantec, EAS/ZANTAZ, OpenText/IXOS, and EMC/Legato are some of the common platforms for which extraction and/or ingestion connectors exist.

Below you will find a url to our web site regarding TransVault. If you want to learn more about this software, please contact us with any questions you might have.

good start. Fill in your profile. Add value with your posts. It will all come along over time.

And turn off word verifications sice you are going to moderate all comments anyways.
